ALIZETI: XL Yellow Storage Basket

Embrace the colour blocking trend with our bright sunflower yellow and natural coloured baskets, hand woven in South Western Kenya. These extra large storage baskets are perfect for toys, house plants and towels. Our coloured baskets are produced by a small Kenyan weaving cooperative of around forty members, with a dedicated dye manager who oversees colour quality and consistency. Sisal grass is sourced ready-rolled when regular orders come in from The Basket Room, and is hand-dyed in large vats and hung out to dry before a traditional twining method is used. This is a highly skilled workforce of women who have woven from a young age, having been taught by the family matriarch.
